MY LIFE

My life had been a shambles
When I didn't know the Lord
And now he has come to show me something
With the bible as my sword
Jesus lifts me higher to places I never been
And takes me through some mighty things
And makes me really keen
The Lord has given me a special gift
That makes me want to smile
A gift of love and respect
To shine that extra mile
I know it now what my heart is really saying
For me to bring the ones outside
And to bring them in without delay
The Lord knows our hearts from the tops of our heads to the tips of our toes
And will be with us every day to share with us all he knows
So be that light to the world outside
To grow in harmony and peace with all
Show the strength of the Lord to others
And he will hear that special call
Giving out what the Lord has given us is sure a mighty thing
'Cause as we do this special deed makes us rejoice and want to sing
